Children’s Care Play and Learning & Development Assessor (CCPLD), Welsh speaking

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a CCPLD Assessor to join our fantastic Team. The role involves assessing and training candidates against QCF (levels 2, 3, 4 & 5) Children’s Care, Play and Learning Qualifications within the learner’s workplace. This also includes the delivery of Essential Skills Wales qualifications.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of working within a children’s care establishment and will possess a great attitude and willingness to adapt and develop themselves further. A qualification within childcare is essential, as is the ability to speak and write via the medium of Welsh language. Experience of assessment practice is desirable as full training will be offered if necessary.
The Assessor’s role is field/home based and requires daily travel to visit learners within and around West Wales, therefore a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

Basic Salary: From £21,000 to £25,000 per annum based on previous experience and qualifications held, PLUS an additional £500 for Welsh medium delivery.

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week). Reduced hours will be considered.
